About
Bron is the ICT Cluster and Digital Innovation Hub of the region of Västernorrland. With a history since end of the 80:s, Bron today consists of about 100 members from the private and the public sector aswell as from the academia – all working together and collaborating for more digital innovation.

Our mission
Västernorrland is one of the top regions in Sweden when it comes to digital expertise and innovative power. The mission of Bron is to promote the opportunity for development and long-term sustainable growth and at the same time increase the region's attractiveness for new skills, new capital and the establishment of new businesses.
Through Bron there is a long time well-established collaboration between many strong players in private business, public sector and academia. In our region you will find Sweden's oldest IT company working alongside innovative startups and together with national agencies leading the digital transformation of Swedish public sector.

Network &meeting places
We arrange and run digital and physical meeting places together with our members to stimulate new business, networking and knowledge. We promote, market and make our members visible at a regional, national and international level and contribute to the establishment of new contacts and the initiation of cross-border collaborations.
History and collaborations
Bron is a non-profit association founded in 1988. The association owns the company Bron Innovation AB, which runs all operations within the network. Bron was originally founded to run the annual IT conference Sundsvall 42, now Good Tech Conference, and has since then grown to what it is today.
Bron are coordinating the national ecosystem GovTech Sweden, founding member of Clusters of Sweden, member of the Swedish Cybersecurity Node, and a key partner of MIGHTY EDIH and Health Data Sweden EDIH. You will of course also find us in the catalogue of European Digital Innovation Hubs and on the European Cluster Collaboration Platform.

Bron is quality certified according to the criteria for ECEI Silver Label. The certification confirms that the business meets the requirements to be considered "Dedicated to Cluster Excellence". Behind the certification is ESCA, European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis, Cluster Management Excellence.
